As the economy continues to sputter along, I am constantly amazed by the resilience of our employees, our customers and our suppliers. While we all have been affected by this downturn, the attitude that I mostly see is one of determination, hard work and optimism that this will end and we will be stronger when the economy returns to full force. We have learned to avoid the hysteria of the media and continue to practice good business. We have seen some companies fall to the wayside but strongly managed good companies continue to progress and prepare for the turnaround.

At OWL we continue to invest in the future through new product lines, acquisitions, new employees and employee training. We have also increased our inventory levels to provide the service level our customers both expect and deserve. We are prudent in our business practices as we must be, but our overriding focus is the future. We believe that the support we receive from our customers, suppliers and employees will continue to enhance OWL’s value to the community in the future.
