BUILDER KIT
The "Builder Kit" is an essential package that is provided with every custom order. This "kit" gives the contractor a clear explanation as to what needs to be done, and with what products, to complete the floor installation. The kit includes:
JOB-SITE DELIVERY
Another advantage we offer is our job-site delivery service. A "hitchhiker" equipped truck is available for unloading directly on site. We schedule this with our regular runs to minimize cost and therefore we can offer a competitive rate for this service. What are the advantages?

TECHNICAL ADVICE
We're available from start to finish when it concerns your project. Even before the design process begins, we can offer you field services like project consultation, product specification and material estimating.
During the floor-design process, we are here to recommend changes that could create a better floor system or possibly save the project money. Our technical staff of experienced, code-qualified and insured structural designers will work with you to design the best floor system to suit your customer's needs.
Even after your customer recieves their package, our staff is available for any advice or clarification that may be needed to expedite the project and insure its proper installation.
TRAINING
Have your own designers? We provide extensive training with our software to make sure that your team is comfortable with doing their own floor designs. We are also available for questions or concerns when they are doing the design. We offer both training at OWL's facility and on-site training whenever possible.
With our strong commitment to inventory, there are always plenty of SKUs available to stock your yard and ensure your team has the proper product on hand to design with.
IB-Joists
As the exclusive Ontario distributor of International Beams high-performance I-Joists, OWL Distribution has emerged as the preferred EWP vendor to over 75 stocking and promoting lumber yards and roof truss companies. Builders agree that, with IB I-Joists superior design properties providing some of the highest load ratings in the industry, floor performance goes up and job site costs are reduced. IB joists are manufactured from black spruce MSR flanges and have wide nailing surfaces that facilitate fast and easy nailing.
With lengths to 52' and depths from 9 ½" to 24', International Beams has the right joist for your project. And with a team of experienced technical service people to advise you, OWL Distribution takes the guess work out and puts simplicity in. Our easy-to-read shop drawings provide a clear and accurate assessment of your project and are accepted by building departments throughout the province. International Beams I-Joists from OWL are also FSC certified and qualify for credits under the LEED and Green Globes standards.

Laminated Veneer Lumber
Are you still building with traditional sawn lumber beams and headers? There is now a better choice - LVL headers, beams and columns. LVL is a stronger, stiffer, more consistent and more predictable building material. Compared with similar sized sections, LVL headers and beams can support heavier loads and allows greater spans than conventional lumber.

WOODWORKS is a single member sizing software used for IB Joists and Nordic products.
Software is provided at no additional cost to the dealer.
